Last year at this time when I was finishing 5th grade, I thought 6th grade was going to be fun, hard,and challenging, because of the heavy load of homework I presumed to be laid on my responsibility

Actually, I found out that 6th grade actually was fun, hard, and challenging. Because their was quite a lot of homework but in the and lots of activities were fun throughout the year.

I thought Math was going to be hard but it turned out to be easy. Because
i had done a lot of work on my own so i knew a lot already.
I thought science was going to be easy but it turned out to be a bit hard, because a lot of new thing were introduced to my and a was confused on some of the subject.

Something I had no idea about but turned out to be important was Humanities. At the beginning of 6th grade I thought it was a health subject because it was called "human"ities.

August 14 was the first day of school. I remember I thought lockers would be a problem for me but i turned out really easy after the first week.

During August after school activities began. I participated in SAISA swimming and I remember being worked out seriously throughout the whole season 4 days a week.

September 20 we had class retreats. I remember going in the gym and creating egg cushion. After we also went to the American club to swim and have fun with our friends then having lunch.

We took ISA tests in October. They were hard in some parts and easier in other parts. in the language area was the hardest part for me.

Parent conferences were in late October. They made me feel worried because i was sure what my parents or my teachers would say about my grades.

I got my first middle school report card and I had a honor roll grade in the end. because my humanities was only a B+.

Near that time we had the dance outside on the Astroturf field we had a dancing contest as well. We also had the Halloween carnival which lots of people dressed up as different scary figures.

At the recognition assemblies I was recognized for achieving an honor roll and participating in SAISA swimming and Basketball intermurals.

I performed in a concert. I played the Trombone a brass instrument which has a low sound we performed many different pieces. I've been playing the trombone for a year now.

We went on a class trip to Thailand from March 2-6. I remember my guide Cole also I hanged out with my friend Matthew a lot since we were in the same group, before that we didn't know each other that much but after spending so much time with him we became really good friends.

There were a lot of changes this year. Something I was really good at was that we could stay after school. After school was a good time for most of my friends and I could hang out we had a lot of fun after school.

Something I wasn't so good at was that there should have bigger lockers because sometimes it's a challenging to fit my stuff into my bag

Something I would like to improve on is the breaks they should be 20 minutes because that would give us enough time to play games and get our stuff for our next class.

I'm leaving this year after almost 9 years of living in Bangladesh I'm living this year I'm moving back to Australia and I'm going to say good-bye to all of my relatives.

Next year I am hoping to still have contact with all of my friends, because I'm sure I'm gonna miss them
